Mikro-Kosmos is a part of Kosmos Festival, a gathering of Finlands firends of psychedelic culture, which brings hobbyists of alternative electronic music and art to the northern woods from all across the world.
Yö-Galleria is transformed into an enchanted wood,when the visual artists of Kosmos Festival bring the spirit of the woods to the urban environment of Helsinki. Mikro-Kosmos is a rare opportunity to see the spectrum of visionary and surrealist rave-art gathered in one exhibition.
The exhibition, constructed into an immersive experience of space combines painting, sculpting, ceramics and installations. A shared vision travels through the artworks: The spirit of northern woods as interpreted through the vision of people from cities.
The thirteen creatives behind the exhibiton represent the living visual art field of Finnish alternative culture, where self making, imaginative aesthetics and psychedelic visuals have sound a strong voice of their own.

Sold-out Kosmos Festival is organized in Närhilä, Ristiina on 9.–12.7.2026. Aside from music, the festival offers visual arts, circus performances as well as workshops and lectures.
